FAQ
colourweekly uses the latest software and hardware to provide you with a perfect and fast result.
Product visualization through CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) is created exclusively within a digital process. For this purpose, the scenes are modeled, textured, animated and provided with the correct light setting in special 3D programs. Afterwards, the scene is calculated in a performance-intensive rendering process and exported into 2D graphics.
A 3D rendering is a digitally generated image based on 3D data. In special software the information is transferred to a photorealistic 2D image. This is done on the basis of various mathematical calculations, which result from the complex scene setup.
The basics of 3D animation are the same as those of 3D rendering (see above), with the difference that the scene is further animated and/or simulated in the software.
Here colourweekly has the expertise to present the product impressively in the moving image.
Yes, colourweekly can import and use all common CAD data. We are happy to check your data sets in advance to guarantee a perfect result.
If you don't have CAD or 3D data of your product that is no problem either. colourweekly also offers 3D modeling of your product.
The representation of the product in virtual and augmented reality requires an optimized 3D model. We are happy to remodel your existing CAD data for this purpose or model the product from scratch.
The duration of a project for product images is about 1-4weeks. For an animation we usually plan 4-8 weeks, from briefing to delivery.
During the whole process we are in close communication with you in order to design the result according to your wishes.
We start the project with a joint briefing, where we find out your wishes and expectations. Afterwards, colourweekly starts with the realization of your project and provides you with regular progress reports to get your feedback.
If you are satisfied with the preview, we finalize the project and send it to our local render farm for final calculation.
